Pat Blencowe

After several years in the building trade Pat Blencowe identified a requirement for an established scaffolding firm to serve Salisbury and the surrounding area.  Pat founded Blencowe Scaffolding in 1964 and it was incorporated in 1992.  He and his family have expanded the business since then, acquiring firms in Basingstoke and Salisbury to enhance the company’s customer service and geographical operational area.  Pat oversees operational activities across all three divisions and drives forward ambitious growth plans.  Pat is an avid football fan – in his youth he elected to focus on building his business rather than joining Southampton Football Club.

Hilary Blencowe

Hilary helped Pat to develop and build the company in the early years.  Appointed to the board in 1992, she served as Company Secretary until 2011.  She still keeps an eye on the company’s developments and supports Pat’s role as Managing Director.  Hilary has keen interest in fitness and wellbeing and created and help set-up Evolved Health Ltd in Salisbury.

David Blencowe

David previously trained as a motor mechanic but was drawn into the family business and started work with them in 1987.  Appointed to the Board as a Director of Blencowe Scaffolding in 1992, David manages the operations of the Salisbury depot and works closely with the accounts department on every day finances and invoicing.

Alan Blencowe

Alan gained 12 years of experience as a scaffolder in the family business before taking an 8 year sabbatical to pursue his natural passion as a professional racing driver.  He returned in 2012 as an Advanced Scaffold Inspector and Estimator.  Having overseen the development of the specialist scaffold division in his capacity as a Director, Alan now operates as a consultant for the company working on specific projects and undertaking scaffold inspections on projects.

Nick Pinchen

Nick is our senior Contract Manager based at our Basingstoke depot. He has been a valued member of the Blencowe Scaffolding team since 2001.  Nick has over 25 years previous experience as a Scaffolder, Supervisor and Inspector, for large companies including SGB and Georgian. Nick also brings with him his knowledge of working abroad in Germany, the Netherlands and Austria.

Lizzie Bennett

Lizzie is the company’s Chief Operations Officer. Her responsibilities include acting as a first point of contact, managing diaries and organising meetings and appointments and is also responsible for overseeing the management of our all our depots.

Jess Blencowe

Jess is our training supervisor and is responsible for coordinating our matrix and training for the whole company.

Brett Mills

Brett is our Eastleigh Depot Manager and is responsible for the smooth running of the office and yard.

Ian Pollock

Ian is based in our Eastleigh office and manages the company’s daily financial administration. Ian works closely with the CEO and Management team. He previously worked as an accountant for a major ship management company in Glasgow before joining us back in 2010. 

Jeff Moore

Jeff is an experienced Estimator and Health and Safety advisor who achieved his COSHH accreditation with us a few years ago. He is now the Manger of our Salisbury Depot.

Michael McGhee

Mick is one of our Scaffold Inspectors for our Eastleigh depot.

Del Thomson

After several years working within the construction industry, Del is one of Scaffolding Inspectors, based in the Basingstoke depot.

Mark Elton

Mark is one of our depot administrators working from our Basingstoke office.

Nathan Steele

Nathan is our dedicated Scaffold Inspector and is based in our Salisbury depot. Nathan is a long-standing member of the Blencowe Scaffolding team, having started working on the tools as an Advanced Scaffolder for a number of years, before heading into the office and taking on the role of Inspector.
