Blencowe Scaffolding and Modern Access are headline sponsors of Race for Men 2018
Blencowe Scaffolding, and its specialist division, Modern Access, have announced they will be headline sponsor of the inaugural Race for Men 2018 event, a charity race taking place on Saturday 17 June 2018 to help raise funds and awareness of Prostate Cancer.

With a work force of over 100 individuals, heavily dominated by men, we’re proud to be able to support the event to help raise awareness.’
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. Over 47,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year – thats roughly 129 men every day. Every 45 minutes one man dies from prostate cancer. Race for Men 2018 aims to raise awareness of prostate and testicular cancer and will support the Stars Appeal prostate cancer fund and MRI scanner appeal, Salisbury Hospital’s charity.
The event will include a half marathon and 10k running race plus shorter fun runs for those less experienced. The choice of race distances aims to encourage runners of all ages and abilities to get active and enjoy the experience of a big sporting event. The races will all start and finish at Hudsons Field, and will take participants on a mixture of running surfaces, including pavements, quiet country roads and trails in and around Old Sarum.
