About Blencowe Scaffolding

Blencowe Scaffolding Ltd is a long established company formed in 1964 and is still owned and directed by Blencowe family members. We are proud to have continually provided employment to our staff living in the local community and surrounding areas over the past 47 years, and to have been of service to our loyal customer-base over this period.

Due to our loyal customers, the company has enjoyed steady, continual growth over the years and has consistently reinvested profits in the business to ensure its financial stability and continued expansion. With this in mind, we are now looking forward to 2014 when we will be celebrating 50 years of successful trading.

Blencowe Scaffolding Ltd has made several acquisitions over the years, including Adept Scaffolding Ltd from Basingstoke (in 2000), Secure Scaffolding from Headley (in 2006) and Griffiths Scaffolding Ltd from Salisbury (in 2009). These acquisitions have allowed us to enhance the service given to customers by increasing our stock of scaffolding equipment and by expanding our geographical operating area.

Adept Scaffolding Ltd was retained as a separate trading unit of Blencowe Scaffolding Ltd and experienced steady growth. In June 2008, Adept Scaffolding Ltd was merged into Blencowe Scaffolding Ltd in order to achieve accounting efficiencies and to enhance the companys streamlined business plan for the future. Secure Scaffolding and Griffiths Scaffolding were both immediately merged into Blencowe Scaffolding Ltd upon acquisition.

Future direction

After the recent decline in the construction industry, Blencowe Scaffolding Ltd intend to achieve steady growth into the future by continuing to invest in staff training to ensure that our highly trained and motivated operatives can continue to provide scaffold structures of a high standard, in an efficient manner, all in compliance with all Health & Safety and Statutory requirements. We regard our highly-trained staff to be a major asset and find that we set the standards to which other companies follow.

Consistently providing scaffolding of a high standard will assist us in retaining our highly valued repeat-business customer base, by ensuring our customers receive knowledgeable pre-tender advice, followed by fully detailed and competitive quotations, and then receiving their scaffold structures completed on time, within budget, to a high standard and to the customer's complete satisfaction.
